Year 4
Homework Expectations
Every Friday your child will be bringing home some learning activities that should be completed at home. Your child will be given a homework folder and this should remain at home. The children will bring home a new sheet which can be added to the homework folder each week. We will also publish all the homework tasks on the school website.
Homework will include:
- Spellings to learn which will be tested in class the following Friday
- A Maths activity e.g. A Doodle Maths challenge to be completed online
- Optional multiplication practise on TimesTables Rockstars
- Reading 3 x per week which can be recorded on the bookmark; the children have already brought home a library book from school which they can exchange once they have finished it.
All login information will be reissued to the children in their homework folder.
Each week the class teacher will provide a detailed explanation to the children in the class and on the homework sheet what is required.
You have the option to scan or photograph the work to submit to the teacher by email year4.horfieldp@bristol-schools.uk by the following Friday.
